Container Exchange (COEX) wishes to engage logistics service providers to share our vision of “No Container Goes to Waste” through the transportation of collected beverage containers from container refund points to processing facilities across Queensland.
COEX is appointed by the Queensland Government to manage and grow Queensland’s container refund scheme. Containers for Change gives people an incentive to collect and return drink containers to a Container Refund Point for a 10-cent refund.
Opportunity:
The majority of COEX’s existing Logistics Service Agreements (LSAs) are expiring in late 2025 and COEX is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from transport operators and LSPs (both existing and new) to operate across 14 container collection regions throughout Queensland.
This EOI is an information gathering process in which COEX is seeking to understand the supplier market and range of logistics solutions that may be available to transport the collection shipping units containing beverage containers across specified regions. This EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process. Only those respondents who submit a compliant response to the EOI will be invited to participate in the subsequent stages.
Apply:
If you are interested in this opportunity, please visit our website https://containerexchange.com.au/tenders/ for further information and a copy of the EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form.
EOI responses need to be received by 5:00 pm Friday 4 October.
