Priority Development Area
The Minister for Economic Development Queensland has approved the Woolloongabba Priority Development Area (PDA) development scheme (The Woolloongabba Plan) and Woolloongabba PDA Public Realm Guideline (guideline) for the Woolloongabba PDA.
The Woolloongabba Plan is a regulatory planning document which assists with planning, carrying out, promoting, coordinating and controlling development within the PDA. It is supported by the guideline which provides additional guidance around public realm outcomes and relevant PDA development requirements, including how more open space and extensive urban greening will be enabled.
The development scheme and guideline took effect on 20 September 2024.

A submissions report has also been prepared which:
• summarises the submissions
• provides information about the merits of submissions and the extent to which amendments have been made to reflect submissions
• details changes made in finalising the development scheme and guideline.
