Water traffic restrictions

Notice is given that pursuant to Section 26 of the Harbors and Navigation Act 1993, the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has granted an Aquatic Activity Licence to SA Power Networks to carry out power line works over an area of water as follows:
For the full width of the Murray River and lagoon, extending 300 metres upstream and downstream of the overhead powerline extending east from Sleeper Track to carry out work on overhead powerlines.
A corridor with a 4 knot speed limit will be provided on the Western side of the river to allow affected property owners access to their frontages to the upstream end of the licensed area.
For safety reasons, vessel traffic will be managed by Workzone Traffic Control on behalf of SA Power Networks and vessels must not operate within the licensed area without approval. Vessels requiring transit through the area must approach the duty vessel for instructions. These traffic restrictions will apply, between the hours of 8.00 am and 4.00 pm.
