Speed limit change
Trower Road between Vanderlin Drive and Parer Drive
The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) is reducing the speed limit on Trower Road between Vanderlin Drive and Parer Drive.
From 16 April 2024 the speed limit will be reduced from 70 km/h to 60 km/h.
The department has an ongoing practice of reviewing speed limits on Territory roads to improve road safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
Traffic study results from October 2023 indicate that vehicles are already travelling within the 60 km/h speed limit range.
Formalising the speed to 60 km/h is appropriate for this high pedestrian activity area and will reduce risk.
