Pursuant to Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1993, the Hobart City Council intends to operate Salamanca Market and intends to close those parts or portions of the highways in the Hobart City Council municipal area, known as Salamanca Place, shown hatched in the map below between the hours of 5.00 am and 6.00 pm on the following dates to enable the Council to enter into the occupation thereof for the purpose of operating this market between the hours of 8.30 am and 3.00 pm.
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 190 of the Local Government Act 1993, a person may, within 14 days after the date of publication of this notice of intention, object to any matter specified in this notice of intention PROVIDED THAT the objection is by notice addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, GPO Box 503, Hobart 7001 or by email to coh@hobartcity.com.au
The dates of operation are SATURDAYS and one SUNDAY
