PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION IN PROSERPINE

Telstra plans to upgrade a telecommunications facility, Proserpine Exchange, 11 Main St Proserpine QLD 4800 (RFNSA: 4800010)

1. The proposed facility consists of the following to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network, including 4G / 5G:

• Reconfiguration of three (3) existing panel antennas at a height elevation of 26.6m.
• Reconfiguration and relocation of three (3) existing panel antennas at a height elevation of 26.6m on new mounts.
• Installation of three (3) new 5G panel antennas (measuring 793mm in length) at a height elevation of 26.6m.
• Ancillary works such as: GPS antenna, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, feeders, cables in the existing Telstra equipment shelter.

2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-Impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.

3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
