Pursuant to Section 382 of the Water Act 2000

Public Notification for the Proposed Liontown Open Cut Mine –

Underground Water Impact Report

The proposed Liontown Mine development is located off Trafalgar Road approximately 40 km southwest of Charters Towers, Queensland (i.e. Lot 4 on Plan AP22679 / ML 100302 / ML 10277 / ML 100290). Cromarty Resources Pty Ltd are currently seeking approval from the Department of Environment and Science for the development of the Liontown Mine. As required under Section 382 of the Water Act 2000 the Liontown Mine Underground Water Impact Report, submitted as a part of the approval process, is available and open for submissions from the public.

In order to meet Section 382 (3D) of the Water Act 2000, copies of the submissions must be given to the chief executive which is the Department of Environment and Science.

Submissions are required to be lodged 20 business days after the notice is published. In this case the close off date for submission will be 8 July 2022.
