INVITATION TO REGISTER AN INTEREST
Artefact Heritage has been engaged by Endeavour Energy to prepare an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment Report (ACHAR) in relation to the replacement of three condemned transmission-feeder powerlines near Eighteen Mile Peg Road, Termeil, NSW.

The study area is within Murramarang National Park and City of Shoalhaven LGA, NSW and fall within the boundaries of the Batemans Bay Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). A process of Aboriginal Community Consultation in accordance with the Aboriginal cultural heritage consultation requirements for proponents 2010 is being initiated by Artefact Heritage. The purpose of community consultation is to assist the proponent in the preparation of an AHIP and to assist the Department’s consideration and determination of the application. We are inviting registrations of interest in the project from Aboriginal groups and individuals who hold cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and/or places in the locality.

Please note that the consultation guidelines require us to provide details of Registered Aboriginal Parties to Heritage NSW and the Batemans Bay LALC. In your response could you please advise if you would not like your details to be provided.
