PROPOSED PERMANENT ROAD CLOSURE
Attention is directed to an application for Permanent Road Closure of an area of about
2730 m2 being an unnamed road off Tanawha Tourist Drive separating Lot 3 on
RP121191 from Lot 7 on RP810864 (Locality of Tanawha) and shown as Road Proposed
to be Permanently Closed (A) on Drawing LAGIS-1578.
Comments or objections to the application must be submitted no later than 3 July
2025, in writing to the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and
Regional and Rural Development (DNRMMRRD), PO Box 318, Toowoomba Qld 4350 or
online at the Queensland Government’s website at ‘Current Road Closure

Members of the public interested in the proposed road closure can apply under the Right
to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) to access any comments/objections received.
If you lodge comments or an objection, please include in your comments/objection
advice whether you would like to be consulted if this issue becomes the subject of an
access application under the RTI Act.
