PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE MOBILE PHONE BASE STATIONS IN QLD INCLUDING 5G
B8507 Durack: On the High Voltage Steel Lattice Tower at 428 Blunder Rd Durack QLD 4077(RFNSA number: 4077004)
The proposed facility consists of the addition of new equipment and associated works as follows (including 5G):
• The reuse of three (3) existing Optus/Vodafone panel antennas on existing antenna mounts at a height of 31.5m
• The removal, replacement and reconfiguration of existing Optus/Vodafone panel antennas and associated ancillary equipment including AAU’s, RRU’s, GPS antenna’s, mounts, cabling, hybrids, feeders, and other associated equipment
B8110 St Lucia UQ North: On the Existing Rooftop facility on Building 81, Hood Street St Lucia QLD 4067 (RFNSA number: 4067009)
The proposed facility consists of the addition of new equipment and associated works as follows (including 5G):
• Installation of four (4) new Optus passive antennas and four (4) new Vodafone passive antennas 2.7m long, on proposed antenna mount at a height of 31.45m and 31.37m respectively
• Installation of eight (8) new Optus AAU’s 0.7m long, at a height of 29m and 30.5m respectively
• Installation of four (4) new Vodafone AAU’s 0.8m long, at a height of 29.4m
• Installation of twelve (12) new Nokia remote radio units (RRUs) and twelve (12) new Optus RRUs installed on new RRU mount
• The removal, replacement and reconfiguration of existing panel antennas and associated ancillary equipment including AAU’s and RRU’s
