The upgrade comprises the removal of two (2) omni antennas from the existing lattice tower and the re-configuration of four (4) existing omni antennas.
The upgrade will also include the replacement and/or installation of ancillary equipment including remote radio units, combiners, diplexers, mounts, cable trays, and cables as well as internal works in the existing Telstra equipment shelter.
Telstra regards the proposed upgrade works as ‘low-impact’ pursuant to the Telecommunications (Low-Impact Facilities) Determination 2018 based on the description above.
