PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT MUDJIMBA CMTS: GODFREYS RD PACIFIC PARADISE QLD 4564

1. The proposal involves the installation of six (6) new panel antennas (three (3) antennas measuring 2533mm in length and three (3) antennas measuring 810mm in length) at an elevation of 30.0m on the existing Telstra steel monopole; the upgrading of equipment within the existing equipment shelter; and the installation of new equipment together with the upgrading of existing equipment - involving amplifiers, cables and ancillary works necessary for the effective and safe operation of the site - on the monopole.

2. The purpose of this installation is to provide additional 4G network capacity and provide for 5G technology. Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination") based on the description above.

3. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2018 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
