PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT 301 IRONBARK ROAD ROWSLEY VIC 3340

Telstra is proposing to upgrade the existing mobile phone infrastructure at the above address to allow for the introduction of 5G to Telstra’s network.

  • The proposal consists of the addition of NR/LTE850 & NR/LTE2600 (5G technologies). Also included technologies LTE1800, LTE2100 and LTE700 (4G)
  • Six (6) panel antenna, six (6) remote radio units (RRU’s) and three (3) junction boxes
  • The removal of redundant equipment including four (4) antenna
  • Ancillary works may be necessary for the safety and functioning of the existing mobile phone base station.

Telstra regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility
under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018.
