PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING

MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT

1. The proposed upgrade to the existing monopole facility consists of the following:

• Installation of three (3) new 4G panel antennas and nine (9) new 5G panel antennas (all less than 2.8m in length) on to the existing headframe
• Replacement and installation of remote radio units (RRUs)
• Installation of ancillary equipment and items, including new antenna mounts, cabling and combiners
• Installation of an additional ground-based equipment cabinet

2. The proposed upgrade will improve the network capacity of the existing base station and introduce 5G services to the surrounding area.

3. Vodafone regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility pursuant to the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 based on the description above.

4. In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
