- The proposed facility comprises the swap out of eight (8) redundant panel antennas with four (4) new panel antennas (2533 mm L); removal of two (2) parabolic dishes and installation of two (2) new parabolic dishes (900mm diameter); ancillary equipment to be upgraded including remote radio units, tower mounted amplifiers, mounts, cabling and feeders; and internal works within the equipment shelter, to improve Telstra’s mobile phone network (including 4G / 5G).
- Telstra regards the proposed installation as a ‘Low impact’ Facility under the Telecommunications (Low Impact Facilities) Determination 2018, based on the description above. The proposed infrastructure will comply with the ACMA EME regulatory arrangements.
