PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE A MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION WITH 4G/5G AT: 16182 TASMAN HIGHWAY, APSLAWN TAS 7190
1. The proposal to co-locate Telstra equipment on the existing Indara monopole consists of:
• Installation of new headframe at 33.6m on the existing monopole
• Installation of (6) panel antennas 2.533m long on the new headframe
• Installation of (1) 600mm diameter parabolic dish at 30m on the existing monopole
• There will be no height increase to the structure.
• Ancillary works including cabling, fibre and power connections, a GPS antenna and the installation of (6) Tower Mast Amplifiers, (3) Remote Radio Units and (3) Junction Boxes.
• Installation of (1) equipment shelter at ground level within the compound
2. Telstra regards the proposed installation as Low-impact Facilities under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 (“The Determination”) based on the description above.
