Biosis Pty Ltd (Biosis) is undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment (ACHA) for the proposed uplifting of the approved mixed-use development, including high density residential development at 134A–134C Burwood Road (Lots M and N DP 409157, Lot 1 DP 795259, Lot A DP 306236), and 29A–33A George Street (Lots 1 and 2 DP 511068, Lots 1 and 2 DP 102050, Lot 10 DP 669145), Burwood, NSW, within the Burwood Local Government Area on behalf of Uniting Church of Australia Synod NSW & ACT c/o Zion Corporation (Dinh Luu; Director;

The project will be assessed as State Significant Development under Part 4.7 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
In accordance with the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Consultation Requirements for Proponents 2010 (DECCW 2010), Biosis invites Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge in determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and/or places in the vicinity of the above area to register their interest in a process of community consultation.
The purpose of Aboriginal community consultation is to provide sufficient information for the assessment of Aboriginal cultural heritage values, and to assist the Secretary of the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure in their consideration and determination of the application.
