NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE
OF PUBLIC LAND
1000 Cambridge Road, Cambridge
In accordance with section 178 of the Local Government Act 1993 (Tas.), Clarence City Council gives notice of its intention to dispose of part of the land at 1000 Cambridge Road, Cambridge in Tasmania (comprised in Folio of the Register Volume 48182 Folio 1 and Volume 37134 Folio 1) via a lease to the Department for Education, Children and Young People (“DECYP”). The lease will enable DECYP to complete Stage 2 of the Cambridge Primary School redevelopment, which includes DECYP constructing a new school gymnasium and outdoor multi-use hard court, both of which would be available for use by the wider community outside of school hours.
A plan of the area is available at the Council offices and on the Council website https://www.ccc.tas.gov.au
Any objection to the proposed disposal of this public land may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 96, Rosny Park, 7018 or email governance@ccc.tas.gov.au by no later than 9.00am on Monday, 23 June 2025.
