Notice of intention to amend Road Management Plan

In accordance with the Road Management Act 2004 and the Road Management (General) Regulations 2016, Frankston City Council (Council) give notice of its intention to amend its Road Management Plan (RMP). The proposed amendment follows the completion of Council’s review of the RMP.

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to improve readability of the plan and to ensure the standards and priorities related to the inspection, maintenance and repair of Council’s roads, remain appropriate in consideration of Council’s operational budgets, community expectations and service delivery priorities.

The written report detailing the review of the RMP and the proposed amended Road Management Plan 2025 may be obtained or inspected at the Civic Centre in Davey Street, Frankston, or on Council’s website: https://engage.frankston.vic.gov.au/

Any person who is aggrieved by the proposed amendment may make a submission to Council on the proposed amendment. Submissions should be marked ‘Proposed Road

Management Plan Amendment’, and should be addressed to: Coordinator Asset Planning, PO Box 490, Frankston, Victoria, 3199, and must be received by 5pm on Wednesday, 28 May 2025. Submissions may also be hand delivered to the Civic Centre, or emailed to info@frankston.vic.gov.au
