NOTICE OF ABORIGINAL CONSULTATION, 459-461 CHAPEL RD. BANKSTOWN

An Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment is proposed for 459-461 Chapel Road, Bankstown for works associated with a proposed mixed use development project by Sustainable Development Group Ltd (nominated contact Richard Huynh, concierge@sdg.org.au).

Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge and wish to be consulted for this assessment are invited to register an expression of interest by 3 January 2025. To register, please email t.beebe@ambs.com.au or by post your letter to Attn: Tyler Beebe, AMBS Ecology & Heritage, Unit 14, 1 Hordern Place, Camperdown NSW 2050.

The consultation is required in accordance with Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements issued for the State Significant Development. The purpose of Aboriginal community consultation in NSW as per Heritage NSW requirements is to assist the applicant in the preparation of the ACHA and the SSD Application, and to assist the Minister for Planning in their consideration and determination of the application.
