NATIONAL POLICE REMEMBRANCE DAY 2024
A memorial service to honour those police who have died serving their community.
ALL POLICE OFFICERS, THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY ARE INVITED TO THEIR LOCAL PARADE OF THE POLICE COLOURS AND COMMEMORATION SERVICE FOR NATIONAL POLICE REMEMBRANCE DAY.
DARWIN - PARADE DETAILS
The NT Police Force, AFP, ABF and Colours, as well as serving and retired police officers. For those members wishing to participate, the march will form-up outside Darwin City Police Station at 9:15am.
SERVICE DETAILS
St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral, Smith Street, Darwin at 9:45am; followed by a morning tea at Mary MacKillop Hall adjacent to the Cathedral
KATHERINE - SERVICE DETAILS
Graveside of Constable Bill Condon, Katherine Regional Cemetery, at 9am; followed by a morning tea at the Cemetery Rotunda.
TENNANT CREEK - SERVICE DETAILS
Graveside of Constable Maxwell Gilbert, Tennant Creek Regional Cemetery, at 9am; followed by a morning tea at Tennant Creek Police Club.
NHULUNBUY - SERVICE DETAILS
Nhulunbuy Police Station at 10am; followed by a morning tea at the station.
ALICE SPRINGS - PARADE DETAILS
The NT Police Force, AFP and Colours, as well as serving and retired police officers. For those members wishing to participate, the march will form up outside Alice Springs Police Station at 9:25am.
SERVICE DETAILS
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Hartley Street, Alice Springs at 10am; followed by a morning tea on the lawns adjacent to the Church.
NATIONAL POLICE REMEMBRANCE DAY RIBBONS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM MAJOR POLICE STATIONS AND CAN BE PURCHASED BY GOLD COIN DONATION. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO POLICE LEGACY NT.
