The Department of Education is proposing to deliver new infrastructure at the above address and involves the delivery of a new Performing Arts Centre (PAC) and additional formalised on-site carparking spaces for 50 vehicles.

Townsville SHS currently has a Student Enrolment Capacity (SEC) of 1,165 and enrolment of 876 students. The proposal will result in an increase of existing spaces and a potential 65 additional students to an ultimate capacity of 1,230.
