The Assistant Treasurer, the Honourable Danny Pearson MP (Assistant Treasurer) administering the
Financial Management Act 1994 declares that by this notice he acquires the following interests in the land described as Lot 2 on Plan of Subdivision 221646G being the whole of the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 10008 Folio 655:
The interests acquired in the land are all interests in the land including the interest of the registered proprietor Trust Company of Australia Ltd ACN 004 027 749 and all other interests.
The acquisition is made pursuant to section 54(N)(1) of the Financial Management Act 1994 for the purpose of use as a 24 hour police station, offices, district headquarters and ancillary uses.
A notice of intention to acquire the interests in the land was not required under section 7(1) of the Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986 because the interest has been publicly advertised for sale and the Assistant Treasurer believes in good faith that the interest is still available for sale.
