Invitation to Local Community Oganisations to apply for Funding from the CLUB GRANTS Scheme 2024 Category 1 Funding Applications
Community organizations are invited to apply for funding towards projects and / or services that address local community needs of residents primarily residing in Burwood and Strathfield Local Government areas. Priorities for this year’s funding include:
•Emergency relief, homelessness and domestic violence
•Services for older people, including Veteran Welfare Services
•Community welfare including engagement with at-risk youth
•Disability programs supporting education, employment and independence
•Programs supporting social inclusion for Aboriginal and ethnic communities
•Programs targeting the problematic use of alcohol and other drugs
•Programs supporting mental health and well-being, and creating community connections
It is now mandatory for applicants to apply online via Club Grants online. This can be accessed via the Club’s website here: https://clubburwoodgroup.com.au/club-grants/ Applications opened on 1st March and close 31st May 2024.
All Category 1 applications are then processed through Burwood Council and the Club GRANTS Local Committee in July with funds distributed to successful applicants in August.
