Feedback sought: Proposed pricing for new memorialisation options at Altona Memorial Park.

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) has constructed a range of new memorialisation options for cremated remains and lawn graves in the Eucalyptus Lawn area at Altona Memorial Park.

As per government guidelines about the setting of cemetery fees and charges, GMCT is seeking feedback on the proposed pricing for these new memorialisation options.

The proposed pricing for each right of interment is as follows:

• Memorial wall, scatter garden $1300 (plaque included)
• Cremated remains memorial pod in a garden bed - $8530

The pricing for each right of interment for a new lawn grave is $8,500 (plaque not included).
