PROPOSED NEW COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE AT THE EXISTING CHILDREN’S HEALTH QUEENSLAND SITE
Queensland Health is proposing an infrastructure designation at the above address to construct a new fi t-for-purpose Community Health Centre at the existing Children’s Health site. The project includes:
• demolishing of the existing structure, including existing on-site landscaping and car parking
• construction of a single level facility with offices connected via a breezeway (office spaces, therapy spaces, stores, amenities, accessibility) with 19 treatment rooms
• thirty-three (33) car parks, with five (5) on Dublin Street, including one (1) PWD car park, and twenty-eight (28) on-site underneath the building
• landscaping, footpaths and outdoor breakout/open spaces for patients.
• the proposed facility will include a total gross floor area of approximately 966m2.
This proposal has been made as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation (MID) under the Planning Act 2016.
