PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT:
1.PASCOE VALE: 31 ESSEX STREET PASCOE VALE VIC 3044
•the removal of one (1) existing radiocommunications antenna (measuring 300mm in diameter)
•the replacement of three (3) existing panel antennas with three (3) new panel antennas (each antenna measuring 2577mm in length) at elevation 15.4m
•the installation of six (6) new panel antennas (three antennas measuring 790mm in length and three antennas measuring 563mm in length) at elevations 15.24m and 14.25m
•the replacement of existing remote radio units (RRUs) with eighteen (18) new remote radio units (RRUs)
•the replacement of existing mast head amplifiers (MHAs) with three (3) new mast head amplifiers (MHAs)
•the installation of two (2) new GPS antennas
2.The purpose of this installation is to provide enhanced 4G services and new 5G services to the Pascoe Vale area. Vodafone and Optus regard the proposed works as a Low Impact installation in accordance with the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 Schedule - Facilities and areas Part 1 - Radio Facilities Item 4 and Part 3 - Low Impact Facilities Item 3.1(4)(a) based on the description above.
3.The proposed infrastructure will comply with the ACMA EME regulatory arrangements. An EME Report can be obtained from https://www.rfnsa.com.au/3044008.
