PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE AN EXISTING TELSTRA MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT:
1.IVANHOE CMTS: 39 IVANHOE PARADE IVANHOE VIC 3079
The proposal involves:
•the removal of six (6) existing panel antennas
•the removal of six (6) existing remote radio units (RRUs)
•the removal of six (6) existing junction boxes
•the installation of three (3) new panel antennas (each antenna measuring 810mm in length) at elevation 10.4m
•the installation of three (3) new panel antennas (each antenna measuring 2533mm in length) at elevation 9.5m
•the installation of six (6) new remote radio units (RRUs) at elevation 8.3m
•the installation of six (6) new tower mounted amplifiers (TMAs) at elevation 8.0m
•the installation of three (3) new junction boxes, and
•the installation of additional equipment with the existing equipment shelter
•ancillary works necessary for the effective and safe operation of the facility
2.The purpose of this installation is to provide enhanced 4G services and new 5G services to the Ivanhoe area. The proposal is defined as a Low Impact installation in accordance with the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 Schedule - Facilities and areas Part 1 - Radio Facilities Item 4 and Part 3 - Low Impact Facilities Item 3.1(4)(a), based on the description above.
3.The proposed infrastructure will comply with the ACMA EME regulatory arrangements. An EME Report can be obtained from https://www.rfnsa.com.au/3079004.
