Mining Notice
Territory Phosphate Proprietary Limited (a subsidiary of Verdant Minerals Ltd, “Verdant”), the title holder of mineral leases ML 29463 and ML 29854, gives notice of intention to lodge an application to the Minister for Mining and Energy pursuant to section 84(2) of the Mineral Titles Act 2010 (NT) to construct a water pipeline from Borefield located on ML31713.
In accordance with section 84(3)(b) of the Mineral Titles Act, Verdant is required at least 14 days prior to making the application to the Minister to publish this notice in a newspaper in which the relevant land is situated.
Providing the Minister is satisfied that Verdant has complied with the requirements of section 84(3) of the Mineral Titles Act and the Minister is satisfied that the infrastructure is essential for conducting the authorised activities under a mineral title held by Verdant, the Minister may grant the Access Authority to Verdant on the conditions specified in the Access Authority.
