Blackwood Christmas Pageant Road Closures
The City of Mitcham hereby provides advanced notice for the following temporary road closures under Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 for the Blackwood Christmas Pageant between 5.30pm and 9pm on Friday 6 December 2024 on:
• Gulfview Road, Blackwood between Main Road and Tester Drive (between 4pm and 9pm)
• Hannaford Road, Blackwood between Glengyle Avenue and Gulfview Road
• Colton Road, Blackwood between Main Road and Station Avenue
• Edward Street, Blackwood between Waite Street and Main Road (local traffic only)
• Chapman Street, Blackwood between Main Road and Waite Street (local traffic only)
• Young Street, Blackwood between Main Road and Waite Street
• Young Street, Blackwood between Waite Street and Melton Street (local traffic only)
• Waite Street, Blackwood between Gulfview Road and Edward Street (local traffic only)
• Waite Street, Blackwood between Edward Street and Shepherds Hill Road (local traffic only)
• Main Road, Blackwood between Colton Road and Young Street
• Main Road, Blackwood between Young Street and Shepherds Hill Road (local traffic only)
• Main Road, Blackwood between Colton Road and Stirling Road (westbound carriageway only) between 5.30pm and 9pm
Traffic management will be in place to provide appropriate traffic guidance, speed restrictions and detours to local traffic whilst the road closures are in place.
