On behalf of Logic Projects Co (Dan D’Ambrosio, dan@logicprojects.co), GML Heritage seek registration from local Aboriginal groups for an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment Report (ACHAR) for the 6-8 Julius Avenue North Ryde Data Centre project. The project will be State Significant Development (SSD). Community consultation will be conducted for the project to comply with the future Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs).
The land subject to SSD approval is located at 6-8 Julius Avenue, North Ryde. The study area comprises Lot 89 DP 1082131. The proposed development involves the construction of a six storey data storage centre.
The purpose of community consultation with Aboriginal people is to assist Logic Projects Co in the preparation of an ACHAR and to meet the requirements of the project SEARs. GML invites local Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal object(s) and/or place(s) in the study area to register an interest in community consultation for the project. If you wish to register please provide by letter or email a brief statement clarifying that you wish to be involved in future Aboriginal community consultation and how you will assist with the assessment of cultural significance associated with the study area.
All registrations should be received by GML no later than 17 January 2025. Please send you registration to ach@gml.com.au or by post to GML Heritage, Level 17, 323 Castlereagh St, Haymarket NSW 2000.
Please be advised that the details of all parties who register an interest will be forwarded to Heritage NSW and the Local Aboriginal Land Council unless it is specified that these details should not be released.
