PROPOSAL TO UNDERTAKE MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES AT EXISTING MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION
1.The proposed works include the reconfiguration of the existing equipment to activate LTE900 (4G) frequency on site; and any other associated ancillary works necessary or desirable for the operation or proper functioning of the low-impact facility. The purpose of the installation is to increase coverage and capacity of the existing 4G technology on site.
2.Optus regards the proposed installation exempt from Local & State Government approval in accordance with the Telecommunications Act 1997 - Schedule 3, Part 1, Division 4 – Maintenance of Facilities based on the description above.
3.In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
