Railway Line Grinding Works 2021 – NSW North Coast and Sth QLD
The Australian Rail Track Corporation wish to advise that from July 6th to July 30th railway line grinding works will be conducted between Telarah NSW and Acacia Ridge South QLD with works occurring at any time including weekends and nights.
Rail grinding is conducted by automated modern on-track machinery and generally passes by unnoticed.
There may also be equipment maintenance works in railway yards at any time as required including weekends and nights located at Telarah, Paterson, Dungog, Stroud Road, Gloucester, Taree, Kendall, Telegraph Point, Kempsey, Eungai, Raleigh, Coramba, Braunstone, Grafton, Rappville, Casino, Namoona, Kyogle, Tamrookum and Acacia Ridge.
All care will be taken to limit any noise & disturbances to the public during these times and though expected to be minimal, ARTC does apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused by the maintenance works which are essential to maintain the integrity and safe operation of the rail corridor.
