BRISBANE CATHOLIC EDUCATION - PROPOSED SCHOOL

This designation request seeks the delivery of a new master-planned prep to year 12 school, childcare centre and church. For the purposes of this request, the proposed infrastructure is generally described as follows:

 

A new master-planned school, childcare centre and church (building heights ranging from 1-3 storeys) are proposed. The College will include:

  • Teaching buildings, including:

    - 4 junior classroom buildings;
    - 5 secondary classroom buildings – including specialist buildings;
    - 1 prep building;
    - Childcare centre/OSHC building;

  • Administration, library and maintenance buildings;
  • Tuckshop facilities;
  • Undercover education and play areas;
  • Grassed primary school field;
  • Sporting field - including athletics track and tiered seating;
  • Central courtyard; and
  • Provision for a potential future Church in the south-western corner of the site.
