PROPOSAL TO UPGRADE VODAFONE MOBILE PHONE BASE STATION AT ST JOHNS RADIO TOWER, BEELA FIRE TRACK (OFF SE FREEWAY), CLELAND SA 5152 WITH 5G

1.The proposed upgrade to the existing facility includes:

• Removal of existing Vodafone antennas and equipment
• Installation of two new 5G antennas for Vodafone, 0.8m long, on new mounts
• Installation of two panel antennas for Vodafone, 2.7m long, on new mounts
• Installation of ancillary equipment including ten (10) remote radio units, antenna mounts and cabling
• Installation and reconfiguration of equipment within existing equipment shelters.

The proposed works will not increase the height of the facility.

2.Vodafone regards the proposed installation as a Low-impact Facility under the Telecommunications (Low-impact Facilities) Determination 2018 ("The Determination") based on the description above.

3.In accordance with Section 7 of C564:2020 Mobile Phone Base Station Deployment Code, we invite you to provide feedback about the proposal.
