Notice is hereby given that the 162nd
Annual General Meeting of members of
The Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania will be held
via Zoom (video) and in person at the
Elwick Racecourse, Crown Lager Bar on
Wednesday 18th June 2025 at 6:30pm
BUSINESS
• Confirmation of minutes of the AGM held on Wednesday 19th June 2024.
• To receive and consider the annual report, balance sheet and auditors report for the 12 months ended 31 March 2025.
• Election of 3 Directors for the ensuing 3 years. There are 3 retiring Directors: Ms. H. Geard, Brighton, Mr. B. Geard, Broadmarsh and Mr. T. Lucas, West Hobart who offer themselves for re-election.
• Appointment of Auditors (retiring Auditors are Wise, Lord and Ferguson).
Nominations for positions on the Board of Directors must be in writing and include the full name and address of the candidate and the candidate’s signed consent. Such nominations must be signed by two Members and lodged with the President no later than Wednesday 4th June 2025.
