The purpose of the meetings is to consult with the common law holders over proposed native title decisions for the following agreements regarding the grant of Authority to Prospect 2068 (“ATP 2068”) to Senex QLD Exploration Pty Ltd ACN 623 117 251 (“Senex”):

  1. Section 31 Deed” – agreement between the State, Senex and WWNAC providing consents to grant of ATP2068 to Senex in compliance with requirements of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth);
  2. Ancillary Agreement – commercial agreement between Senex and WWNAC setting out benefits given in return for native title consents; and
  3. Cultural Heritage Management Agreement – agreement between Senex and WWNAC setting out processes to manage the impact of Senex’s activities permitted under ATP 2068 on Wulli Wulli cultural heritage in compliance with Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003 (CTh)

ATP2068 covers approx 486km2 surrounding Cracow township (see map above) of which 40% is covered by the Wulli Wulli People’s native title determination shown as cross-hatched areas.
