WEED CONTROL ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER (2 YEAR TERM CONTRACT)

We are seeking a Weed Control Team Leader to join our Weed Biosecurity and Bush Regeneration team. A focus for this role is to assist the team in supervision of Weed Control Officers and contractors undertaking weed control and surveillance activities in accordance with predetermined Weed Management Plans and targets outlined in Council’s Delivery and Operational Plans.

• Starting salary $60,507 (plus statutory superannuation) with opportunity for salary progression up to SS4

• Supervising the delivery of assigned activities in relation to weed control and surveillance, including the management of staff
• Ensuring the timely and accurate collection of treatment and inspection data in line with Council’s Operational Plans
