Dominic College, Glenorchy is a K-10 co-educational Catholic College with an enrolment of 1000 students.
The College is incorporated and governed by a Board of Directors which is accountable, through the Company
Members, to the Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco. The Principal position is an appointment of the
Board of Dominic College, with the approval of the Salesians.
In the tradition of the Salesians, the values of the Gospels and the example of the life of Don Bosco are
the foundations for supporting students to become good Christians and honest citizens within the Catholic
tradition. To think, feel and act from the heart is at the core of Dominic College’s aspirations. The successful
applicant will be a visionary Catholic educator who emulates and advances these aspirations.

The one-site campus has amazing grounds and facilities where students have a rich learning environment
from Kindergarten to Year 10, which makes for a seamless transition from primary to secondary years which
continues through to Guilford Young College for Year 11 and 12 students.
Dominic College is nestled in the foothills of Mount Wellington and spans over 28 hectares that back onto the
