Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30 (Term time only)
Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School is a vibrant and progressive K-12 school, 370 Students, dedicated to the educational principles inspired by Rudolf Steiner.
The High School Counsellor works to holistically support the social and emotional development and wellbeing of young people, and adults, within our School Community. In your role, you will provide individual counselling services to the students and establish a care team as required.
The successful candidate will be professional, motivated, suitably qualified and affiliated with PACFA or ACA and enjoy working with a great cohort of educators.

Essential criteria:
• Qualified and affiliated with PACFA or ACA
• Ability to assess and identify the needs of individuals and groups
• An understanding of the current issues affecting students
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Great organisational skills and able to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
• NSW Working with Children Certificate
Desirable criteria:
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Understanding of Steiner Principals
