Full Time Cook
Lee Fung Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time, experienced Cook to join our team in the Bendigo region of Victoria. As our Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Japanese-style dishes at our restaurant. Your main duties include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing sauces, sashimi, and sushi
• Cooking Japanese dishes according to customer dietary requests
• Preparing raw ingredients by cleaning, cutting, dicing, slicing, and chopping
• Tenderising meat and marinating ingredients
• Seasoning and cooking food
• Portioning and garnishing dishes
• Checking food quality before serving
• Cleaning and sanitising food preparation areas
• Storing food properly and monitoring stock levels
• Planning menus and estimating food costs
• Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
Qualifications & Skills required:
• At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with a minimum 2 years of experience as a Japanese Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Full Australian work right.
• Availability to work full-time.
Salary package: $70,000 - $80,000 a year plus superannuation, depending on experience
