Specialised Chicken Services Pty Ltd is based in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW, and manufactures fresh and value-added delicious chicken products. We sell our products Australia wide through wholesale distributors.

We are looking for an experienced Payroll / Human Resource person who can also perform Accounts Receivable work. The position may require you to work up to 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, depending on the workload. Initially the position will be offered on a casual trial basis with the option to go permanent if successful after the trial period.

Payroll / HR Duties will include:

  • Managing Payroll and Leave for 50+ employees
  • Calculating hours worked using ADI time management program
  • Weekly processing of Payroll using MYOB
  • Inductions and required paperwork for new employees
  • Looking up Fairwork Awards and conditions of employment

Accounts Receivable duties will include:

  • Receive payments and payoff customer accounts
  • Prepare and send end of month debtor statements
  • Process new credit applications
  • Follow up overdue debtor accounts to ensure prompt payment

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes required:

  • Experienced and accurate in MYOB and data entry
  • Experienced in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook email
  • Good written and verbal communication (phone and email)
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Be motivated, reliable and act in a professional manner
  • Recognise and analyse problems and work out suitable solutions
  • Work with limited supervision
