TRACE JV are currently offering apprenticeship opportunities in the fields of Electrical/ Instrumentation & Mechanical Fitting. This is a rare opportunity for you to gain practical hands on experience in a supportive environment.
As an apprentice with TRACE, our four-year nationally recognised qualification will give you on-the-job experience at the world class INPEX LNG processing facility.
You will gain extensive experience in the maintenance of an LNG onshore facility which includes: two LNG processing trains, LPG and condensate plants, product storage tanks, a combined cycle power plant, administration facilities, utilities and a product load out jetty.
To be considered you will have:
Successfully completed Year 12 (with passes in Math’s & English) and/or pre-vocational training in a trade is favourable.
• A commitment to studying, training, and any previous Part Time or Casual work.
• The experience or the willingness to work in and support a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• An understanding of occupational health and safety, with safe work practices.
• The ability to prioritise your time and commit to schedules or a roster.
If successful you will undertake a numeric, literacy, abstract and mechanical reasoning aptitude test and attend a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol test. The role also requires you to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
