Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd has an exciting leadership opportunity for a full-time CEO to join their team in Geelong. Wathaurong is seeking a driven Executive Leader who has an established and successful track record of delivering results.
Working closely with the Board, this role will see you responsible for providing strong leadership, enabling Wathaurong to achieve its strategic and operational goals. In this position you will be accountable to, and advocate for the Wathaurong Aboriginal Community, you will also be responsible for actively engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating the organisations vision and strategies. Importantly, Wathaurong is also looking for someone who will foster a motivated and passionate workplace culture which is guided by Cultural Integrity principles, the United Nations Declaration for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and decolonised work practises to ensure that all programs/services are productive, viable and sustainable.
