Popcultcha Store Manager
Popcultcha Supastore Geelong has been in business for over 25 years (previously known as Card Mania) and prides itself on being the biggest and best retailer of pop culture merchandise in Australia. At Popcultcha, our goal is simple.... we want to blow people's minds when they come into our store! We want to show them the latest and greatest in Action Figures, Statues, Toys, Replicas, Apparel, Books and Comics, Cards and Board Games and so much more. We want the store to appeal to families, kids, nerds, geeks, freaks, goths, muso's, gamers... whatever or whomever you are, we aim to have something for you! Nothing makes us happier than seeing excited kids and adults alike when they come to Popcultcha! Being an alternative culture department store, we deal with all walks of life, so we look for staff who are very well rounded.
Your ability to deal with a wide array of customers, having a good rapport with customers and exemplary customer service skills will be necessary in this role.
What you will bring to the store is a background in retail management and customer service.
You must have held some sort of managerial role, so you will have the requisite skills of money management, opening and closing procedures, merchandising, staff management, receiving stock into stores, taking customer orders and placing purchase orders for stock.
You must have an enthusiasm for coordinating in-store events, promotions and raising general awareness of the store in the public eye, a proactive approach to these areas will hold you in good stead in this position. We also operate a large, worldwide online store, so you will need to be conscious of the overall Popcultcha business and interacting with the online business is a day-to-day reality.

We want FUN people with diverse and interesting backgrounds, positive attitudes, life experiences, knowledge about TV, Movies, Games and the like to complement our awesome staff.
