Indian restaurant in Goulburn NSW seeks a qualified CHEF to manage production of our range of authentic quality Indian veg and non-veg dishes. Our menu is based on authentic northern Indian cuisine and includes curries, tandoori items, meats and poultry. As Chef you will be required to manage your work station and to the following: menu planning, costing, budget preparation, management & stock control managing production of entrées (veg & non-veg) and desserts preparation of meats, poultry, seafood and vegetables, preparing Indian masalas, sauces and marinades cooking using tandoor, oven, grill, steamer cooking traditional and authentic Indian menu items maintaining kitchen and equipment. training junior kitchen staff To be selected you must have: Certificate IV in cookery or equivalent experience At least 2 years' experience as chef Experience in preparing North Indian cuisine items Experience in cooking using a tandoor High level of attention to detail Exceptional levels of cleanliness and organisation Management, communication and organisational skills We offer excellent working conditions and a starting base salary of $60 000.
