1st NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR THE GRANT OF A LIQUOR LICENCE

Siya Travel & Holidays Pty Ltd has applied to the Director-General of Licensing for the grant of a Liquor Licence - "Authority - On Licence" for Uluru Limousine Tours, within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park at the approved designated drinking areas.

PROPOSED LICENCE AND CONDITIONS

- Complimentary drinks are provided to guests of Uluru Limousine Tours, whilst at the designated drinking areas in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

-  Uluru Limousines tour packages will provide a complimentary range of wines, champagne, light, mid, heavy strength beers, pre-mixed drinks and snacks for tour guests to choose from.

-  Proposed liquor trading hours from 14:00 hours to 22.00 hours Monday to Sunday inclusive of all Public holidays, Christmas Day, and Good Friday.

PROPOSED BUSINESS PLAN

Uluru Limousine Tours, provides tours of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, including informative walks in the park with a tour guide. Guests are offered complimentary drinks whilst watching the sunset, in the designated drinking areas within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The length of the tour can vary between 4 - 6 hours or be customized to suit individual needs.

This is the first notice of application. The notice will be published again on Tuesday, 19 March 2019.

The objection period is deemed to commence from Tuesday, 19 March 2019, being the date of publication of second notice, and ceases at the close of business, Friday, 19 April 2019.

Pursuant to Section 47F(2) of the Liquor Act an objection may only be made on the ground that the grant of the licence may or will adversely affect:

(a) the amenity of the neighbourhood where the premises the subject of the application are or will be located; or

(b) the health, education, public safety or social conditions in the community.

Only those persons, organisations or groups described in Section 47F(3) of the Liquor Act may make an objection. Section 47G of the Liquor Act requires the Director-General of Licensing to inform the applicant of the substance of any objection. This will include the identity and where relevant the address of the objector.
